New Character!

Ok, so here is the new character.. the old images are staying so you can see the difference between the two these are much better in my opinion.

Character's Head

Ok, so I have the head almost done and I figured I would post it so I could get some feedback... but I don't think anyone knows I even have this so it's probably pointless.. None the less here it is.

I like the face from the top to about the nose then the mouth I am not really happy about at all. I did some tests and get the expression that the Maquette has but I dont really think there is half as much character in the mouth than the rest of the face. Place your finger over the mouth and look at the character then slowly move your finger down and see where the flow gets messed up for you and let me know.

Maquette Is Complete

Here are some screens of my Maquette. I took more concern about the head and those details than the body. The body serves more as a base rather than actual shape of the character that I am creating in Maya. Any feedback would be great.

Thesis Begins!

Ok, so I have been trolling the blogs of fellow students and realized it's time to start a blog and get some well deserved feedback. I am starting from scratch here so I will post as many images as I can. I am starting with a maquette of my character and then from there will start the modeling process. Hope everyone is doing ok on their thesis and now that I have an account I will throw some feedback your way. I ask only for honesty and constructive criticism.
