Yeah man I definately dig this one more. That being said there is something about the first maquette that I can't get away from. Maybe its the fact that it is a physical sculpt and not clean cut like the ?poly? (I'm scroungin' for the name of the stage your at with this one). It seems to have more life to it.
As far as feedback not much to say except one minor thing. The folds on the shirt between the chest and the gut seem repetitious of each other. I'm looking at this from a 2d pov so maybe it serves a purpose in animation that I don't know of. Maybe Jones will offer his services for reference?
